Abi and Nick, Eastington Park
I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Abi and Nick’s wedding, they are a brilliant match for each other and they are really best friends as well. I knew this from doing a pre-wedding shoot with them earlier in the year where they barely stopped laughing.
Abi and Nick were married at Abi’s local family church in Clifton, which was just around the corner from where the girls were getting ready. Of course this closeness to the church didn’t stop Abi rocking up in a pair of stunning Jaguar cars for her and the girls! After the ceremony, we made our way over to Eastington Park in Gloucestershire, and the rain clouds held off just enough to allow the guests to enjoy the beautiful grounds.
A beautiful light descended after the speeches finished and so I took Abi and Nick to explore the gardens. I love capturing these moments between couples and just seeing how they connect with each other. The evening swept in and a mighty throw of the bouquet landed in the hands of one very happy girl. I’m pretty sure every eye in the room is on that bouquet as it flies through the air. I do love the variety a wedding throws at me, from crazy action to thoughtful details, highlighting the character of people to scene-setting and landscapes, it’s a fast paced ever-changing environment!
