Maunsel House is one Somerset’s best wedding venues, not only do you have the option to get married outside, but you can dine under the pergola as well. With a house that has a long history of hosting fantastic parties (including my own wedding here back in 2010!) The gardens and grounds are extensive and the eclectic decadence of the house itself with an armoury for a bar and armoured skeleton to welcome you, along with an assortment of paraphernalia to peruse in every room, you can find conversation starters around every corner!

Annie and Thomas got married at their local church in Nether Stowey, then came back to Maunsel for the reception. It was a beautiful April day and I even caught the last bit of sun as it set with the couple. A hilarious round of speeches and then the evening ceilidh saw the dresses and kilts swirling and eventually I left a very happy group of people wishing the newlyweds off as they departed through their sparkler exit.
