Bignor Park, West Sussex Wedding Photography

Emma & Michael | Bignor Park

Wedding photography at Bignor Park for two fantastic human beings. Emma and Michael took on the rain and had just the best time!

When it rains on your wedding day there are two things you can do: get sad and moan about the weather OR suck it up, realise it is only rain - you’re still going to get married and knock your wedding celebrations out of the park! Emma and Michael chose the latter for their West Sussex wedding day.

With bridal preparations at Ryde House in Petworth, the girls were in good hands with Makeup and Hair team Spence & Oliver. Emma looked breathtaking in her Rosa Clara wedding dress. The boys got ready at The Norfolk Arms in Arundel and Groom Michael had best man Duncan to keep him relaxed and to help with tying a Windsor knot!

Weddings at Bignor Park

A church ceremony at St John the Baptist in Pulborough saw the happy couple tie married in front of delighted friends and family before they dodged wet confetti and made there way over to Bignor Park House for the reception and celebrations. Bignor Park Estate sits in 1100 acres in beautiful surroundings close to the wonderful South Downs. Hidden away down a magnificent driveway this understated privately owned house has an individual style and charm. Bignor hosts just 12 exclusive weddings each year and the team are very flexible around making your dream wedding come true.

The bride and groom chose Tents4Events for their awesome marquee and I loved the festoon lighting that lit it up at night. Entertainment was provided by Chris Simmons on his acoustic guitar during the drinks reception and The Guilty Pleasures band got everyone rock and rolling later on!

I enjoyed taking the newlyweds off for photos, even though it was still raining. A big umbrella helped keep them dry until we found a few spots to seek shelter from including the Temple, a striking feature in the gardens.

Here is a small selection of their wedding at Bignor Park.
