Hafod Farm Wedding Photographer

Sarah-Jane & Dan, Hafod Farm

Hafod Farm in Snowdonia National Park was the rustic setting for SJ and Dan’s August wedding. Set in the rolling hills of north Wales, Hafod Farm and its surrounds provided a stunning backdrop to a fabulous day, filled with love, laughter and fun. The pair met at university in Wales and have spent much time walking, climbing and occasionally running up mountains in the area and so for their couple shoot they were keen to head off to nearby Capel Curig to take in the incredible scenery and even do a little climbing in their wedding attire! In fact, so keen were the bride and groom on all things mountain-related that they named their tables after mountains they have climbed together, decorating their signs with pictures of them at the summit and displaying the height of the peak to make them all the more impressive!

Their ceremony was held in the oldest building on Hafod Farm: the Grade II listed Tall Barn. Guests then adjourned to other areas of the 500-year-old farm for reception drinks and the wedding breakfast, returning to the barn for evening festivities. Being a dancer and England cheerleader, SJ put together (and managed to teach) Dan an incredible first dance which was definitely up there with the best ones I’ve seen! Have a look at some of the highlights from their day.
