I love that I am in a position to photograph weddings as my full-time career. It is a job that gives me huge pride and I am always thrilled to be a part of every couple’s big day.

My experience over ten years of shooting weddings has taught me that it is the feelings that will stay with you the longest. Small details about the day fade soonest, but even vivid memories about how you felt will start to get hazy. However, my job as a wedding photographer is to capture these moments so you will always remember them. I want you to be able to look back at photos in decades to come and have memories flood back.

Getting Married in Devon?

Devon is a region full of delights to uncover and explore and a wonderful region for weddings. There are medieval towns like Okehampton and Buckfastleigh to enjoy, some of the prettiest villages in the country such as Lustleigh, Clovelly and Upottery. Larger cities like Plymouth and Exeter offer more hustle and bustle with great options for shopping, museums, and dining.

There are countless award-winning sandy beaches, many popular with surfers. Walkers adore the rugged South West coast path which takes in the incredible fossil-rich Jurassic Coastline. Moving inland you will find some unmissable landscapes when you reach Dartmoor and Exmoor National Parks.

Devon has a special place in my heart because the county was where my Mum and generations of her family were born and raised. I myself have spent many years enjoying the magic of this place and Dartmouth holds particularly fond memories.

Natural Wedding Photography

I work as unobtrusively as possible on a wedding day. My goal is for you feel like there’s just another friend at your wedding. Documentary wedding photography, really just means you’ll be able to carry on as you normally would without having to pose or fake a moment. I tell the story as honestly and creatively as possible. You can be sure that when it comes to the couple shoot this principle continues.

As you’ll read from my testimonials, this aspect of the day is something I do differently from most wedding photographers. I do not want you to feel like you are having a photo shoot, I instead want it to feel like a time where you can be yourself. To capture a true picture of what a relationship is like is my goal.
