Hi, I’m Simon Biffen and I will capture your Cornwall wedding day in a way that allows you to relax, kick back and enjoy your day to the max! Weddings are about people, connections and moments big and small. My job is to be in the right place at the right time, blend in discreetly with the action and tell your very personal story as creatively as I can.
But no posing here please!
That’s because I don’t just want it to look like you were having a great time, I want you to feel it.
Real feelings beat any fake smile. Real connection is more important than a trendy hashtag. Real moments become a stepping stone to the past.
And hey, I’m delighted you’ve decided to get married! It is a hugely significant step in any relationship. I’ve had the honour of photographing hundreds of weddings for couples of all creed, colour, faith and sexuality. Love holds no boundaries. It’s a privilege to photograph the biggest day in people’s lives and I cherish the job I have as a wedding photographer.
I travel all over the UK capturing weddings big and small. I love any opportunity I get to be a Cornwall wedding photographer. There is magic in Cornwall for sure! The sheer scale of the region, with its seemingly unlimited golden beaches, craggy outcrops and wild moorland. There is a calmness to Cornish folk that makes them enviable to the rest of the country. Indeed the pace of life seems set to cruise control in a world going into overdrive.
My most recent visit was for Jo and Dave’s wedding at Roscarrock Farm which you can see examples of on this page. They held a DIY drinks reception on the beach at Daymer Bay and even though it was April this still meant a dip in the sea for the bride and groom! I use a documentary wedding photography to capture every moment and tell the story of the day (and night! I’m not one fo those photographers who goes home after the first dance, far too many good moments would be missed!)
I would love to hear from you if you’re searching for a wedding photographer that is on the same page as you, someone who can tell the story of your day as full of emotion and feeling as you lived it, perhaps even a little more. The key for me is making everything I do as natural and unposed as I can. You should be able to immerse yourself in every second without having to think about the camera.
I cover weddings across the South West and UK. If you take a look around you’ll discover more about my approach and real weddings I have captured on my blog.
