A Magnificent Milton End Farm Wedding!

Another scorcher of a Summer wedding for you! This time Chloe and Josh brought the love to Milton End Farm, a new venue to me at the time in Gloucestershire, but one that I look forward to going back to! It’s a family run business with a converted barn now sitting in the middle of the working dairy farm, so there’s a fantastic feel to the place, with the animals and machinery reminding you of where you are!
I’d been recommended for this wedding by Chloe’s brother Joab, a good friend of mine and an awesome wedding photographer, so had that little extra pressure to smash it! It helped that the whole wedding vibe was relaxed and and Chloe and Josh were really fun and easy-going.
A joyous ceremony in the barn, decorated in a fittingly rustic style, preceded confetti, groups and drinks the reception which had half the guests seeking shelter from the heat! Napkins and cheers welcomed the newlyweds to their inaugural meal together as husband and wife and with appetites satiated the speeches brought much laughter and the opportunity to put into words those feelings that we don’t always get to say publicly.
It was a nice reprieve when it cooled off a little in the evening to take Chloe and Josh off for some time together, whilst of course stopping to say hi to the pigs! With the party kicking off in the barn, in the yard, alongside a classic Cornhole game, there was a brilliant game of what can only be described as knock-the-nail-in-flush-in-one-go which got pretty competitive!
