Best Wedding Photography 2023
Another year comes to an end and it’s been another whirlwind of weddings for me. I’ve travelled the length and breadth of the country covering weddings; from St Agnes in the west, the Isle of Sheppey in the east and up north to Durham. There’s been intimate ceremonies to all-out parties and everything in between.
In November, I celebrated winning the TWIA South West Photographer of The Year and I look forward to the National Final in January. It is in first time I’ve entered in ten years and I was delighted to come away with the top spot for my region.
A big thank you therefore to the couples who trusted me to capture their day - it is always such a huge honour.
For me, it is not the details or the styling that make a wedding day special but the people; the energy, emotion and connection they bring to the day is a story that never gets old.
The process of going through an entire year’s worth of weddings and picking out images that stand out is always a hard one. I tend to choose pictures that either make me feel an emotion or tell a story without words - ones that take me back to the moment. I hope you get a sense of that feeling too.

When look at these images I can’t help but be amazed that I was fortunate enough to be part of such incredible stories. This wedding photography game really pulls at the heart strings, it tests your physical and mental capacity and shows you the human race at its best. I am so privileged to be in a position where I get to do this as my job and I cannot wait to see what moments I’ll witness in 2024. Cheers!
