The Build Up

I’d met Lauren many years back at one of the first weddings I ever shot, a few years ago I photographed her sister’s wedding and so when the time came for her and Lee to tie the knot she knew that my style and approach was just what she was looking for and I jumped at the chance to capture their wedding in Sorrento.

Lauren got ready at the exquisite Villa Aragona where the celebrations would continue later in the day. With the excitement and anticipation building I let the girls carry on and I swung round to see how the Lee and the others were getting on in their nearby apartment.

The Ceremony

The guests and myself descended by bus into Sorrento town for the ceremony at Villa Fondi on the Piano de Sorrento. With the sun beating down Lee just about kept cool for the touching moment when Lee’s son walked Lauren down the aisle. With breathtaking views and the couple’s closest friends and family, you couldn’t have asked for more.

The Celebrations

After taking Lauren and Lee for a stroll around the the gardens we made out way back to Villa Aragona for the reception. A beautiful spread of food awaited and that was just the appetisers! As the sun went down and we moved up to the balcony for dinner and speeches I could feel the love that everyone had for the newlyweds and seeing them take their first dance showed just how much their they meant to each other. With the party in full swing some guests got a little hot and decided a cool down in the pool was in order…. soon most of the wedding party including Lauren jumped (or were they pushed Lee?!) into the pool and it was the perfect end to a wonderful day.
