Ally and James chose the Museum of the Order of St John in Camberwell to get married, and wow, what an amazing London wedding venue! The Museum of the Order of St John is steeped in history and the main function room is absolutely stunning. Looking suave in his blue suit James waited nervously for the gorgeous Ally to arrive in her knockout wedding dress and incredible red heels! A beautiful ceremony commenced and on completion they were congratulated not only by their friends and family, but also by a group of scaffolders nearby!

What makes the Museum of the Order of St John unique is that you can hold your wedding drinks reception in the Cloisters Garden, which has the feel of an Italian Renaissance garden, complete with olive trees. After tasty canapés and drinks guests jumped on board a classic red Routemaster bus which took us all the way to the Blacksmith and the Toffeemaker pub which they had turned into their very own unique wedding venue for the meal and party. With chic styling and thoughtful details, the place looked incredible.

The standing speeches were really memorable for their emotion, laughter and unstoppable whooping and cheering! Once the meal was complete it was time to get down to the serious business of partying. Ally and James’ friends revelled like nobodies business and before too long it was time for me to grab my taxi home. What a day, what a couple, what a wedding!

I cannot recommend Simon enough - he really embraced the attitude we’d taken to our wedding and got us some really brilliant photos both of the day itself, and some particuarly fun action filled ones of the evening. A joy to work with both in the run up to the day, and the day itself and his stunning photographs speak for themselves! 5 STARS! Ally and James
