Summer Farm Wedding in Newton St Loe, Bath

Kirsty and Willum // Farm Wedding Bath

Willum and Kirsty had their original wedding ceremony with close family and friends back in January 2020 and were hoping to have a bigger celebration that summer, but the pandemic halted that plan and it was over two years later (and a baby!) that they were able to finally get all their friends and family together for the wedding blessing and a huge party to celebrate. It was worth the wait!

Kirsty wore a stunning gown by Enzoani, sourced from The White Collection. Kirsty’s radiant glow was the result of the talented Eleanor Nancy Makeup Pro Team. Eleanor expertly enhanced Kirsty’s natural beauty, ensuring she felt like the most beautiful bride. Abigail Constanza Hair added the perfect finishing touches to Kirsty’s look, creating an elegant and sophisticated hairstyle that complemented her dress and overall bridal vision flawlessly. Willum and his groomsmen looked dapper in their outfits provided by Charles Tyrwhitt and Gaff Clothing. A stylish combination of tailored elegance and modern design. No jackets with it being such hot day were a great idea!

The ceremony took place at the historic Holy Trinity Church in the picturesque village of Newton St Loe. Vows, readings and the blessing left everyone high on emotion as the couple left through a hail of confetti into the getaway car: Willum’s pride and joy Datsun 260z, an absolute beaut, sounding as good as it looks!

Following the ceremony, the celebration continued at the family farm, where a light filled, elegant marquee was set up with wonderful views. It was sun hats or shade for many guests with temperatures pushing 30℃! The farm’s rustic charm combined with relaxed decor created an inviting ambiance.

The culinary delights were crafted by Giles Sampson and Newton Farm, ensuring that every guest was treated to a gastronomic delight of fresh, local produce that left everyone wholly satisfied. Jake Burgess Films expertly captured the essence of the day. With a keen eye for detail and a talent for storytelling, Jake is one of the best wedding cinematographers out there. Compton Garden Flowers transformed the venues into blooming havens with their exquisite floral arrangements.

The invigorating sounds of Sax by C Sharp provided melodic background vibes during the reception and ramped it up a notch for the party! Chris’ uplifting and joyous saxophone playing set the stage for an unforgettable celebration.

Kind words from Kirsty and Willum:

“Simon was the official photographer for our original small, intimate marriage in January 2020 and then our larger wedding celebration in 2022. Both times he was an absolute joy to work with and a marvel behind the lens as the photos now show. Simon made us feel very comfortable and was always pragmatic, professional and most of all, you could have a laugh with him. He has played a massive part of our days being so memorable, he is an exceptional photographer and talent behind the camera and just an utterly reliable and wonderful chap to work with.”
