Oh wow! Does it get batter than being a Bedruthan Hotel wedding photographer?! This was for the joyous union of Michelle and Jen, set against the stunning backdrop of the Atlantic ocean in Cornwall! This enchanting location, perched on the rugged coastal cliffs, provided an idyllic setting for their intimate summer wedding. With the gentle sea breeze and perfect summer weather, the day was nothing short of perfection.
The ceremony was held outdoors, surrounded by close family and friends, all gathered to witness as the couple exchanged vows under the open sky, perfectly framed by the natural beauty of the Cornish coastline.
Some lovely personal touches with the beach vibe decor and check out that cake, a masterpiece crafted by Claire Burnett! Equally stunning were the floral arrangements by Lucy at Newquay Garden Centre, adding a touch of elegance and vibrancy to an already picturesque setting.
One of my favourite moments was capturing the couple during their shoot among the clifftops at Carnewas. The dramatic landscape complemented Michelle and Jen’s love story perfectly, as they shared a few tender moments with the sea stretching out behind them. Later, as the sun began to set, we headed down to the beach for an evening shoot. The soft hues of the setting sun provided a romantic backdrop, making for some truly magical moments between the newlyweds. Look out for Jen’s friendly push which nearly left Michelle very wet but she recovered and leapt across the stream!
The Bedruthan Hotel is a stunning location. It’s no wonder this spot is a favourite for those seeking a unique and memorable wedding experience. We even got a fly-by from the Red Arrows who had completed their show nearby which was cool!
Being chosen to be Michelle and Jen’s Bedruthan Hotel wedding photographer for their special day was an absolute privilege. Their love for each other, the natural beauty of the Cornish coast and the warmth and support of their closest friends and family meant it was a day to remember, and I thoroughly enjoyed my role in capturing it in photographs.
