Squerryes Court Wedding Photographer

Squerryes Court | Chloe & Joe

Chloe and Joe celebrated their wedding at Squerryes Court after a religious ceremony held at St Mary the Virgin Church, Westerham. I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this Kent wedding and using my documentary style to blend in and capture the action resulted in natural photographs and moments.

Choe and girls were in expert hands with Laura Berkeley as their makeup artist and Posy and Wild providing stunning floristry. I caught up with the guys at the Grasshopper on the Green for a few calming pints for Joe before they headed to the church. Check out Chloe’s arrival in her Dad’s vintage Mustang, a real eye-turner of a car that you hear before you see it!

An Autumn Wedding at Squerryes Court in Westerham, Kent

Once the couple were married the celebration continued over at Squerryes Court, a 17th-century Grade I listed manor house that has been the setting for various TV and film productions including the BBC’s adaptation of Emma. There are 10 acres of grounds to explore which offer fantastic backdrops for wedding photography. Squerryes Court hosts just six couples a year, making it a very exclusive Kent wedding venue.

There were outside drinks in the pleasant Autumn weather accompanied by an acoustic guitar. I took the newlyweds off for a little time away for some couple time and captured some of what makes their relationship special. Guests then moved into the marquee for the wedding breakfast and speeches. A great day was finished off perfectly with a party that was off the scale with music provided by Ellie Sax who filled the floor with epic dance tunes and insane saxophone rifts!
