Steph & John, Domvilles Farm

Quite possibly the happiest Bride on the planet, Steph, and her soul mate John, asked me to capture their wedding day back in May and it rocked. Despite some rain and the odd gust of wind, everyone was in the mood to celebrate, and from start to finish the laughter didn’t stop. I knew these two would be awesome to shoot because of the pre-wedding beloved shoot I did with them back in March. Steph and John are just like two magnets and the energy they give off is infectious.

A beautiful moment was when Steph entered St Bertoline’s Church with her Mum and John walked down to meet her then escorted her down the aisle to begin the ceremony. This gesture, so simple, but so very poignant as Steph’s Dad was sadly no longer with us. It would symbolise just how caring and fantastic their relationship is and how much strength they give each other.

Domvilles Farm in Audley, Stoke-on-Trent was the setting for the wedding reception and a tipi tent provided a wonderful space for the celebrations. I took the newlyweds off for some photographs around the farm and the love I captured between them was clear to see. It was hilarious to see Steph and John’s dog join in the party later on and the second time that Steph got a great big lick!
