Intimate wedding at The Temple of Minerva
Emily & Nathan // Temple of Minerva, Bath
What’s a little rain when you have a beautiful setting for your wedding like the Temple of Minerva in Bath’s Botanical Gardens? Emily and Nathan’s celebration was full of laughter and joy showing that you can keep the scale small and still have the best time!
I joined the crew for some of the getting ready stage at the nearby Bathen House Hotel before we headed over to Victoria Park for the ceremony. A downpour threatened proceedings but Emily and her Dad didn’t let that stop them getting to the Temple! A simple and intimate ceremony followed and two happily married souls emerged into handfuls of confetti. With tempting donuts amongst the nibbles for guests, I waited for a break in the clouds to take the couple for a wander around the botanical gardens. It’s always such fun to see the connection each couple have and I love making this part of the day; less photoshoot and more just time hanging out together, where I can capture the genuine expressions and emotions.
